Okay this week has already started out as a bummer of sorts, so with that in mind, here is my TOT

• Spending more time with my children

• BBQ time is upon us again!!

The Way You Make Me Feel has to be my all-time favorite song by MJ. Don't get me wrong but I love all his music but this one does it for me...On one level I identify with this song..well enough said

...and since I am ol' school, its the long version...lol!

This is one hell of a way to end a week, but for me I hear the voices of Morgan Freeman "Get busy living or get busy dying" But my mind is on Michael and void he created when GOD took him from us yesterday. I think GOD wanted to see his new routine... my prayers goes out to the family and i will share 15 moments that Mike really shined in my eyes...

1. The absolute first time i saw Michael on TV was on the Sonny and Cher show and I was a fan since then....
2. When I saw him perform "Ben" loved the song
3. When I saw him on the Victory Tour Concert
4. Thriller video....not a fave of mine but I watched it over and over again
5. Beat It video...the first video I saw with a black man on MTV
6. The Way you make me feel video is my favorite of all time
7. Black or White video...that boy could dance
8. Remember the Time video...very cool
9. The Grammys  appearance where he threw his hat into the crowd THE ABSOLUTE BEST PERFORMANCE
   
10. Keep it in the Closet video premiere was HOT
11. Scream video premiere was totally cool.
12. The Super Bowl performance '93
13. When I saw Mike and Britney do the remake of The Way You make Me Feel!

Week full of smiles so far....

Naw, not me, I ain't feelin it

• Not talking to someone as much as I used too

• Lipton has ready made Ice Tea in a jug! (yes, i am lazy when it comes to tea)
• have a medical facility that just signed on...woo hoo working with doctors
• Royal Pains is coming on tonight!!
• being clear on feelings and going for it!
• that Kia Soul looks good these days for a daytripper

I walked by my bookcase and I was flipping through some CD's that I have bought over the years and here is a list of 13 that I should not have bought at all!!

1. Michael Jackson - Blood on the Dance Floor........bleh!
2. Ice Cube - Laugh Now, Cry later - I'm still crying
3. Snoop Dogg - Paid tha cost to be the Boss...Although the album had Beautiful on it..it sucked other than that
4. Phil Collins - Testify....still mad!
5. Elliot Yamin - Fight For Love...My American Idol pick cost me money on his second album
6. Loon - Loon....I love his rap style but the album sucked
7. Gabriela Anders -  Last Tango in Rio She was going to replace my need to hear some Sade, but then I bought her second album.
8. Harry Connick - Star Turtle....OI got seduced in New Orleans to buy this one after hearing Hear Me In Harmony and this...FAIL.
9. 3T....I never should have bought into the fact that they were Micheal jackson's nephews...although Anything was good!
10. Rashaan Patterson - Love in Stereo...I thought Stop By was on the album and it wasn't!
11. Jill Soubule - Pink Pearl....After To Cool To Fall In Love, it all sucks. MANLaw prevents me for commenting on other songs that interest me...lol!
12. Morris Day - Color of Success....You need The Time...and some chili sauce
13. Queen Pen - Conversations with the Queen...Teddy Riley don't make hits all the time...lol!

But man I love this song.....

The first time I heard it i was walking the halls during class and the band was practicing this song and it has been a fave every since then.

Today, I am alone for the weekend...no kids, no woman and my best friend is working this weekend. So here is an introspective look at the Rooster...me! Some of you will connect the dots and others will be shock and then say, that figures...well enjoy

1. i hate delivering bad news
2. i sometimes do not call people back when i tell them
3. i do not open bad mail
4. i fall in love way to easy and I have a hard time letting go
5. I have a problem of thinking i can fix anything in the last minute
6. i am not honest with the people I NEED to be honest too
7. i am never happy with my success
8. i have a need to fix people (my co-dependency)
9. I will argue with a sign post if I believe i am right
10. I share too much information about myself
11. i am always changing the gameplan to my life
12. I always think "what if" and do nothing about it
13. I have ideas but are not crazy about them unless someone else is too
